The pistols are placed on coated steel pegs. Handguns are locked in with a steel locking bar and padlock (not furnished). It is very simple to use when retrieving guns. When unlocked, the locking bar drops downward and stops at the bottom of the rack allowing quick access to all handguns. This pistol holder's narrow profile allows it to be mounted on a wall (preferably behind hanging clothes, out of view) or as a pistol display rack. To further conceal your handguns and protect them from dust, simply hand a shirt or other clothing over the pistol rack. This pistol rack mounts to a single wood framing stud with two 3/8"x 2-1/2" hex head wood screws and screw head guards (furnished) that protects against unauthorized removal. This handgun rack storage system is made of steel and dip coated with vinyl to protect the handgun's finish.

When used in homes, it keeps the firearms locked in the rack and away from children.
When mounted inside closets behind hanging clothes, out of view, it deters gun theft.
It can also be used as a for public viewing of firearms in gun retail stores.
